We absolutely love our SugarBoard.

Everyone in the family has become more aware of our son's glucose levels and can help him stay in range without constantly checking the app... or more realistically, asking me all the time.

For the first time since diagnosis, it feels like I'm not carrying all of this by myself.

At first, the school was very uncomfortable with the idea of having our son in class with T1D.

His teacher told us, "We're not nurses," and that she was afraid of missing a low during the school day.

Since we'd already been using SugarBoard at home for a long time, it felt natural to put one in his classroom too.

Now the whole school team has embraced it. I think our son has even become a bit of a favorite in class.

The hardest part of being a T1D mom is definitely the nights.
