General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Sugarboard

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("GTCS") govern sales of products made on the Sugarboard website between:

ARTICLE 1 — PURPOSE
These GTCS define the conditions applicable to the sale of Sugarboard products via the online store.
The products marketed are electronic devices for the secondary display of glycemic data from compatible third-party services.
ARTICLE 2 — PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sugarboard is an electronic device based on a microcontroller equipped with an LED matrix allowing the secondary display of CGM data.
The product may be compatible with certain third-party CGM-type services and community platforms.
The list of compatible services is provided for indicative purposes, is non-exhaustive, and is subject to change at any time according to technical, contractual, or regulatory modifications made by the relevant third-party providers.
ARTICLE 3 — MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Sugarboard is not a certified medical device.

The source CGM sensor and its official application remain the only sources of medical reference.
No medical, therapeutic, or emergency decision should be made solely on the basis of the information displayed by Sugarboard.
In case of doubt, alert, or medical situation, the user must always verify the data via the official medical device and consult a healthcare professional.
ARTICLE 4 — AVAILABILITY OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The operation of the product partially depends on third-party services, infrastructures, APIs, and platforms independent of Sugarboard.
We do not guarantee:
Any interruption, restriction, technical modification, or removal of a compatible third-party service may temporarily or permanently prevent certain features of the product from operating.
ARTICLE 5 — PRICES
Prices displayed on the site are expressed in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes, unless otherwise indicated.
Shipping fees are specified before order validation.
Sugarboard reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are billed based on the rate in effect at the time of the order.
ARTICLE 6 — ORDERS
Any order placed on the site constitutes a purchase offer.

ARTICLE 9 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

ARTICLE 10 — LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
The consumer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, as well as the legal guarantee against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.

In accordance with the regulations relating to Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), electronic products must not be disposed of with household waste.
The Customer is invited to deposit used equipment at appropriate collection points.
ARTICLE 14 — FORCE MAJEURE
The seller's liability cannot be engaged in the event of non-performance or delay resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of French law.
ARTICLE 15 — APPLICABLE LAW
These GTCS are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
The consumer may also have free recourse to a consumer mediator in accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code.
